The establishment at 199 Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village was built in 1926. It was without exception the finest and most complete and modern funeral home in New York City. It was not a converted townhouse, but a newly constructed building, architecturally designed as a funeral home. This was during a time when most wakes took place in the homes of the departed.
Since 1977, Peter DeLuca, the owner, has expanded immensely upon the proud and reputable tradition of the building. The facilities have been impeccably renovated, restored, and beautifully furnished.
We have a vast selection of specially designed background music, even subtle aromatherapy to help relax you and your guests. In addition, we offer HD TV Screens for presenting videos, Wi-Fi Access for easy connections to the Internet, an elevator and other modern amenities. Although it is classic in design, it is truly a state of the art facility.
