We take great pride in having the finest facilities in Manhattan. Located in the heart of Greenwich Village, we are near transportation hubs, restaurants, and available parking. You can count on us to help ensure that your family and friends are provided with the best that Manhattan has to offer when they arrive at your loved one’s service.
The original establishment at 199 Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village was designed and built in 1926. It is without exception the finest and most complete and technologically modern funeral home in New York City. It was not a converted townhouse, but the first, and still the only, newly constructed building, architecturally designed as a funeral home.
Since 1994, we have expanded immensely upon the proud and reputable tradition of the building. The facility has been impeccably renovated, restored, and always beautifully furnished.
The building is a true landmark in Greenwich Village. Adorned with stained glass windows and a convenient awning, visitors feel reassured as they approach the main entrance on Bleecker Street.
At night, the area is well lit with ornamental light fixtures located on the building’s restored facades. Matching planters and Topiary’s greet family and friends as they arrive at the main entrance.
The facility is designed like a luxurious Manhattan residence with high ceilings, fully restored architecture, and maintained with impeccable cleanliness and care. Through the use of carefully selected colors, fabrics and furniture style, our furnishings are designed to soothe and calm the spirit.
Families can choose from a vast selection of specially designed background music, even subtle aromatherapy to help relax you and your guests. In addition, we offer HD TV Screens for presenting celebration of life videos, Wi-Fi Access for easy connections to the Internet, an elevator, and other modern amenities. We provide classic beauty with true state of the art functionality.
